I do not have a Mac and I have not used the edit or my ultra in some time but at first I used to have trouble plugging the cables in correctly, I think the uno input has to be plugged into output and the output plugged to the input. I do not think I installed any uno driver to make it work. I have to o to work shortly but if you do not get it I will fire it up this evening and see if I can help.
I tried your way but nothing change.. Thanks bro! If you are having problems installing the firmware and are using this adapter it is highly recommended that you consider investing in a different adapter. Last edited: Jan 2, What FW version is currently on the Ultra? If it's FW Roland Veteran. Try turning everything off and on again. It's years since I used an Ultra, but I remember that I had to turn the Ultra and the Midisport on in the correct sequence.
Problem with Midi Sport UNO - Logic Pro Help
Unfortunately I can't remember which way around that was. The problem is the M-Audio drivers, that are a big shit. If you're only going to trigger drums, and not do big recording projects, you'll be fine with the lowest spec MacBook Pro. However, if you're using high-end gear as you are going to be with ProTools get a Core i7 model and do your TDK setup justice.
Really, just set a budget and buy away,. A macbook Pro will do perfectly. That will work flawlessly with no noticeable latency. Presonus StudioLive Logic Pro9, Macbook Pro. It is not about the latest computer hardware as latency has nothing to do with it.
You need a mac when you like using Pro Tools and Logic the reasons to use these programs are beyond me 2. You can get 7 year old pc hardware for around USD, when you choose RME AIO it will kill every mac latency wise, be it 8core or using all available firewire and usb interface which exists.
Macs are ok, but in the year not superior working with big projects, several daw bench sites indicate that 4. There are reasons for choosing modern 64 bit systems, only playing vsti drums is not really one of it. Latency does not improve by using 64bit. Do not burn money, make a choice based your needs. Last edited by Ribot ; , AM. I tried 2 years ago 3 midi interfaces below usd for mac, did not work that cool I agree with berberman. I don't remember what I paid for it a few years ago, but I see it on shopping.
Seems to be a newer version.
